Lead coordinator of the Asia Pacific Project Preparation Facility – AP3F (2015-2022)

This multi-donor trust fund of US$73 million, funded by the Governments of Japan, Canada and Australia, is managed by the Office of Public-Private Partnership (OPPP) of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

AP3F covers all developing member countries of ADB and provides PPP-related assistance to government counterparts.

Work done included pre-launch trust fund finalization as well as post-launch activities as follows:

  • Outreach to 19 ADB developing member countries across 4 regions (countries listed alphabetically):
    • Central and West Asia: Azerbaijan,Kyrgyz Republic
    • South Asia: Bhutan, Nepal
    • Southeast Asia: Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand 
    • Pacific: Cook Islands, Fiji, Palau, Samoa, Solomon Islands,Tonga, Vanuatu
  • Identification of PPP capacity-building and project preparation/monitoring opportunities
  • Assistance to implementing agencies in securing AP3F funding
  • Monitoring of actual technical assistance delivery
  • Drafting of activity reports to donor countries

Financial consultant for a global Trade & Value Chain Finance assignment (2020)

Preparation of a report on financing tools, which fed into the book published by the World Bank in 2021 entitled “Financing More Resilient Trade and Value Chains”.
